Tips to help you eat fruits

1. Buy fresh fruits in season when they may be less expensive and at their peak flavor and taste.
2. Wash fruits before preparing or eating them under clean and running water, dry after washing.
3. Rub fruits briskly with your hands to remove dirt and surface microorganisms.
4. Make most of your choices in whole or cut up fruits rather than juice for the benefit dietary fiber provided.
5. When choosing canned fruits, select fruit canned in 100% fruit juice or water rather than syrup
6. Put the fruits in plastic packing before storaging in refrigerator at home to prevent lose of water content and reduce the quality.
7. Keep fruits separate from raw meat, poultry and seafood while shopping, preparing and storaging.
